We have to admit that a Winter photo shoot can be a tough sell for people. We have a long and dreary Winter and it’s tough for families to motivate themselves for family photos during that time! But if you’re game to brave the cold it’s certainly something that can be done.
I chose the city backdrop of downtown Birmingham for this one. The grey concrete and busy small city makes for nice lighting and background. I had the clients wear some bold colors to really pop out in the dreary winter months and I think they chose very well! It was definitely cold and chilly, but we braved the weather and got some unique looking photos because of it. The kids even took a break to warm up in the car – especially in the cold, accommodating clients with children’s needs is essential!!
We even got a little bonus Christmas theme going because Birmingham is always decorated so nicely for Christmas!
